About Our Founder

Steve Baines has led strategic and operational IT planning endeavors, always with an eye toward achieving business goals. Over the course of his career he has designed, developed, implemented and been responsible for the operational management of a variety of state-of-the-art mission critical applications. He has over 15 years of industry experience and over 10 years experience in Marketing Operations and Technology, with a proven and successful track record of IT implementations, improvement and integrations.
Steve possesses a unique mix of technical expertise and business acumen that makes him an invaluable asset to his clients. Not only can he implement complex and detailed technical projects, but he can also "talk the talk" with business users and speak intelligently and constructively about proposed solutions to their business problems. Steve has an M.B.A., as well as an M.S. in Information Technology and a B.S. in Accounting & Finance from Southern New Hampshire University.
With Steve’s direction, the Poised Solutions team has led major development and integration projects that heavily leverage the Salesforce.com API, as well as other CRM applications, web content management systems, and marketing automation suites such as Eloqua and SalesFusion. Projects include lead generation/development applications as well as Customer Support and Partner Relationship Management portals, still in use by thousands of users today.
